Fourth Gadget: Growing up Video/Action
[So Cross had ran off on a mission for nearly a week after the Valentine's shenanigans had ended. Confusion was high and he needed to sort his own head out and keep his mind off of what happened. He had been told somethings, of romance and love. But, while he didn't really get what any of that was before he could tell people were probably becoming uncomfortable with the fact of him asking so much about it.
And...when seeing someone become uncomfortable, he had knot grow in his stomach. What if by asking those questions he just made people not want to see him or talk to him anymore. What if by staying around and being visible just reminded them of what he asked and said? He couldn't bear the thought of being alone here or not being talked to. He had enough of it back home. He was sick with that fear. Of one day just not being seen anymore by others and being left to his own devices.
So if it meant that he had to fall off the radar for awhile he would. So he took a mission.
When he was finally back, bruised and battered, he had decided to read up on what he had asked this time round.
He heads to the library, pulling books out about dating and romance and just sits there for hours trying to comprehend it all.
After that, he's going on a video talk. Because, now he's getting to another issue. Fighting. After that mission he can see he needs to get better here. While it was only a combat testing one he was tested to the full limits of his current strength. And having been thrown around by holographic opponents stronger than him just showed he had a lot to learn. He needed to show his skill, to be the best he could. The burning desire to just show someone without magic could still be just as strong, powerful, and important welled within him. He didn't want to take a backseat if he ever was brought in on one of those drafts he heard and read about.
After all...if he could show his merit in places like those people would notice him.]

Uh, hey everyone. It's Cross. For those who know me, I'm uh, back now! For those who don't, well nice to meet ya anyways.
[He gives a small wave and tries to seem as cheerful as possible, even with a giant bruise on the side of his face.]
So, uh, how's everyone been? [But, he's not going to beat around the bush, he'll get right to it.]
Look I uh, need to ask something. Is there anyone who's really sufficent in combat? Like, top notch, high tier, could kick a whole lot of butt without trying to kind of combat level?
[Cross nervously rubs the back of his head and while he wants to pride himself in his abilities and show off as much as he can...he knows he pretty much sucks.]
I want to get better at fighting back. I kind of know how to use a sword and I've been trained in martial arts, I can even throws knives when I need to. But I'm nowhere near good yet. So, if there's anyone out there who's willing to help I can uh buy you something with mission points?
[He lets out a deep sigh as he lowers his head.]
Just think about it, okay?
(ooc: The action is in the library if anyone wants to question why he's reading books on dating and the like)
